Beyond the River (1-3)

We often pass little worlds that unfold just beyond our view. With this study, I aimed to take a common area, and through depicting it realistically, artistically, and expressionistically, make it familiar. Within this process I have found the joy in repetition, taking a simple photo of a concrete wall in a stairwell and giving it more meaning than ever anticipated. I will keep my experience brief, as I want the viewer to see what their minds want them to. Create your own meanings; and while my title gives you a hint to mine, I encourage you to find your own world in it.
